清華大學近年致力推動跨領域學習與研究，清華大學要在4年內將清大最具特色的「跨領域多元學習」比率從25%提升80%；並設立「清華傑出人才發展基金」，鼓勵優秀教師除發展單一學科研究外，積極參與跨領域研究，進而擴大大學之社會影響力及貢獻。

In recent years, National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) has been dedicated to promoting interdisciplinary learning and research. The university aims to increase interdisciplinary learning from 25% to 80% within four years. Additionally, NTHU has established the "NTHU Foundation for the Advancement of Outstanding Scholarship" to encourage outstanding faculty members to engage in interdisciplinary research in addition to developing expertise in a single discipline, further expanding the university’s social impact and contributions.
